Will the final year exam be canceled or not? Supreme Court can decide this date ?

The University Grant Commission wants to conduct final year exams of all the students keeping in mind the future of the students, but some students and parents want the students to pass without taking the exam. On this, UGC says that doing so will harm the students in the future.


Many petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court for final year exams not to be conducted. At the hearing, SG was given time till 14 August. Now the next hearing will be on August 18.


755 universities across India, 366 are set to conduct the examination in August or September as per the revised guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Commission directs that the examinations should be completed before 30 September.
